Only the Primary Account Holder can manage payment methods for the main subscription and any Family Member plans. Learn more about the available payment methods.
📌 If you are a Family Member, the Primary Account Holder must make these changes for you.
How to change a payment method
- In the Wellhub app, go to
Profile > Settings (gear icon) > Account.
- Under Payments, tap Payment Method.
- Tap Add a new payment method or tap on an existing one to manage it.
Important note about Paycheck deduction
If you switch your own plan to paycheck deduction, be aware that this payment method can’t be used for Family Member plans. You’ll need to keep a valid credit/debit card or Apple Pay on file for their subscriptions to remain active.
From here, the options you see depend on your account's setup. Choose the description that matches what you see in the app to find the correct next steps:
This means your account is set up to assign different cards to different people.
- Check the boxes for the subscription(s) you want to pay with this specific card.
- Tap Save.
Important note
The next time you add a new family member or upgrade a plan, the app will ask you to consolidate all family charges onto a single payment method.
This means your account is currently using a single payment method for all family members.
- Tap the 3 dots next to a card on your list.
- To change the main card for everyone, tap Use as default.
- To add a fallback card, tap Use as backup.

 Why you might see multiple charges
Even when multiple subscriptions are on the same payment method, you'll still see a separate charge for each plan.
To help you identify them, subscription charges on your card or bank statement now include the user's name (e.g., Wellhub - Name).
