To ensure the highest level of data privacy and strict compliance with global data protection laws, such as CCPA and GDPR, we have enhanced how sensitive information is displayed on the Wellhub for Companies portal. Personally Identifiable Information (PII) of your employees is now partially hidden by default to reduce unnecessary exposure.
With this update, we minimize the risk of unauthorized data extraction, protecting your company and maintaining a fully secure HR routine.
Which information type is affected?
- Email: e.g., ab•••yz@email.com
- Employee ID (Eligibility Key): e.g., •••123
- Mobile Number: e.g., +55 ••• 1234
- National Document (SSN/ID): ***-**-6789
National IDs are not shown in the main view of the employee list, but can still be consulted by selecting an employee on the list individually or downloading the full list.
Can I still search for employees if their information is masked?
Yes. The search bar on the Wellhub for Companies portal continues to function normally. You can type the full email (even without the masks), the employee ID, or the name. The system will locate the corresponding record and display the profile with hidden data for security.
How do I view or edit an employee's full information?
- Click on the specific employee in the list.
- Select the option Edit info.
- If requested, complete the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) step by entering the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your login email.
- After validation, the employee’s information will become visible so you can review or make the necessary edits with total protection.
Can I download the employee list with full unhidden information?
Yes. You’ll just have to pass through the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) flow before the final file is generated and released for download.
Will this affect my reports, downloads, or automated integrations?
No. Hidden data is applied exclusively to the navigation interface of the list within the Wellhub for Companies portal.
- Downloads: Downloading the complete eligibility list will continue to provide unhidden data, validated by the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) security flow.
- Integrations: Automated processes via API and SFTP will not experience any type of impact or change, as they operate under their own dedicated and restricted security layers.
