The deduction file is a monthly spreadsheet (available in .csv and .xlsx formats) listing the specific amount to subtract from each enrolled employee's payslip for their Wellhub subscription. This is your primary tool to ensure your internal system processes employee payments accurately.
What’s inside the file?
- Employee Information: Details of employees who subscribed to or renewed a Wellhub plan during the current payroll cycle.
- Amount to Deduct: The exact total amount owed by each employee for that period.
Note: If your company funds employee plans, the deduction file amounts adjust automatically to account for the company's contribution. The file exclusively lists employees with a payable balance; the system already accounts for those subscribed to a fully funded plan (£0) to bypass this step.
How to use your deduction file
- Download the file: Access the latest deduction file from the “Billing” page in Wellhub for Companies on your chosen billing date. It is located inside your non-taxable payroll invoice. We will also send it directly to your email.
- Upload and Process: Upload the file directly to your payroll system.
- Record Keeping: Save a copy of the file for your company’s internal payroll records.
