The International Check-in is a company-sponsored add-on that provides your employees and their family members with seamless access to our in-person partners across the 12 core countries where Wellhub operates.
This add-on is a high-value addition to your company's benefits package:
- Uninterrupted Wellbeing: Employees can easily maintain their fitness and routines while traveling, reducing stress and avoiding drop-off.
- Seamless Experience: Employees simply open the Wellhub app and check in—no extra steps and no cost to them.
- Largest International Network: Your team gains access to our global partners network across 12 countries.
💡 This feature can only be enabled for companies based in a core country. Companies based in Global Digital Plan countries are not eligible.
The 12 core countries are: the US, the UK, Ireland, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Argentina, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Canada, and Italy.
To enable or disable International Check-ins for your workforce, Wellhub for Companies admins should contact our team.
Only Employees and Family Members enrolled in billable plans from clients who have hired the International Check-in add-on will be eligible.
- Wellhub plan structures vary by country. When employees travel, their plan stays the same, but the gyms, studios, and premium services available may differ depending on the country they're visiting.
- The app will clearly indicate which local partners are covered under their current plan and which may require a different plan level.
- Employees are free to upgrade or downgrade their plan while abroad to gain access to a specific partner or optimize their coverage for the trip. All transactions (upgrades, downgrades, and pauses) will occur in the employees' home currency and home plan.
- Available: In-person check-ins and booking at gyms and studios.
- Still Available: Access to wellness apps from their home country (e.g., Calm, Lifesum).
- Not Available: Live classes, 1:1 Personal Training, and wellness apps from the destination country are not available while abroad.
No. There is no extra cost for employees or Family Members to use the International Check-in feature.
