If the company that offers the benefit allows it, the Primary Account Holder can add up to 3 family members, and each person gets their own separate Wellhub plan. Eligible family members are parents, children and one spouse or partner.
Billing for family members
- The payment method you use will become the single, shared payment method for your entire family. This action updates the payment card on file for any existing family members.
- Each family member's plan will appear as a separate charge on your statement, but they will all be billed to this same payment method.
- Paycheck deduction is not an available option for family member plans. You must use a credit/debit card or Apple Pay.
- The charge for each plan begins as soon as you subscribe, even if the family member hasn't finished creating their account yet.
To add a family member, follow these steps:
- Open the Wellhub app and go to
Profile and select
Family Members.
- Tap Add family member or Add new subscription.
- Enter your family member's details: their first name, email, and relationship to you.
- Choose a plan for them and continue to the payment screen.
- Select your payment method and tap Subscribe.
- On the confirmation screen, tap Share to send the sign-up link to your family member so they can create their account.
đź’ˇ We'll also automatically send an email to your family member with the same link.
The primary account holder can easily send a new sign-up link from the Family Members screen if the original one expires. Learn how to resend the invitation.
If the primary account holder sees a family member in the list without an active subscription, there may have been a payment issue. To fix this, go to the Family Members screen, select their name, and follow the prompts to add a subscription.
If the primary account holder continues to use Wellhub after leaving the company that provided the benefit, their added family members can keep their subscription, but they won’t be able to add new family members.
